Pink pineapple–how cool!!!

I’m sure these are delicious, but I simply cannot support a company that buys into manufactured misinformation and caves to activist pressure. The GM sugar from American sugarbeets is molecularly identical to the non-GMO sugar #Hershey now uses in response to fear-mongering. They have ignored the opinions of hundreds of scientists who agree that foods grown using genetic modification are safe. 
We use agricultural biotechnology because it allows us to use less herbicide, less tillage and less hand labor – a win for farmers’ bottom lines. GM is also a win for the environment, something that cannot be said for other growing methods. 
So, when I bake Christmas treats for my family, I’ll use #FactsNotFear when shopping for ingredients and kiss off the #Hershey’s Kisses.
