It’s that special time of year when beautiful flowers are on display at every turn, and nothing says Happy Valentine’s Day like a gorgeous bouquet. Just look at the varieties and colors from which to choose! Imagine the limited choices if the selection of desirable traits had never occurred and these lovely blooms didn’t exist; a scrawny, blah bunch of weeds isn’t exactly romantic. Thank you, plant scientists!!!  So ladies, I know you’ll be thrilled to receive fresh flowers from your  Valentine, right? Well, unless you’re anti-GMO…in that case, better toss them in the trash.
